Just Another "How To" Video ...

Hello Dosers,

Here is the final project I did at Consumnes River College in Lauren Wagner's Single Camera Production & Editing class. We had various choices as to what type we wanted to do for our final project and I chose to do this How To video. These projects were supposed to be all done by ourselves if possible with as little support as needed. The video is 3 minutes long and it is too big to embed into the post here itself so I made it a link from Youtube connected to the post title for easy viewing.

The Dayly Dose has a home on the Web, Finally!

Hey Dosers, well I finally have a solution to the archiving of the shows I produce for Access Sacramento. I am hosting the shows web space with a surewest account I have. The address is: https://home.surewest.net/suprclrk

There will be a playlist each week as well as a past shows page in case someone missed a show. There will also be a page the will show the studio where I create the shows each week.

All in all big fun as we take some baby steps forward while getting our "Dayly Dose". Thanks for hanging in with me as I try to figure all this new technology out

A New Way to Get the Show

Greetings all you Dayly Dosers! I have been trying to find a way to archive the files from each of the shows I do for Accesssacramento community access. I think I have created a way to do this now. To make sure it is working correctly, I will for a short time need to have blog members request a link till I make sure everything is sorted out correctly. After that request, I will send members a link for the show segments that they will be able to download and they will then be able to play my show at their convenient leisure time.

Blog members may request an email with the links for this weeks show here

Thanks in advance

The Daylydose 420 special! Like Wow Man!

This last show was about the evil herb and all of it's trials and tribulations throughout the years. There was music from the 30's all the way up to the 90's. I came up with quite a few rare musical buds. So relax, as Tommy does, put on your eye shades, put in your earphones, and you know where to put the cork. Enjoy the show. Try this link to get to the show, and let me know if it doesn't work, okay? Hey, anybody catch the Rock N' Roll induction on Saturday? Till next week, or sooner, Rick

The Dayly Dose show for 4-13-12!

Hey gang, it is great to try new things out with all my dosed up friends, so here we go. This past weeks show was all about BASEBALL. What could be better. You can click on this week's title to take you to a very special place.

This is the link to my home page I am creating for my Dreameaver class this semester. Click on the radio link on the left side of the page to get more info about the show. Maybe this is how I can post the show until I get some web hosting of my own for the show/blog/ultimate live365 program.

What ever you do this week, take care and keep up with your dosage, okay?

Rick

Shows for 3-30-12

Hey Gang of Dosers, this weeks shows are ready to go and I'm really thrilled to have been able to use all of the songs Greg let me use from his Brothers new cd. His Brother Peter is the 2011 South Australian Songwriter of the year and I'm jazzed to probably the first in Sacramento to be able to play his music. Peter has a studio at home where he recorded the music and I would guess did the disc production as well. Hats off to Peter Clayton and the CD " Out of The Ruins ". It is really cool and there is a song in each segment of the program. Quite a bit of true "Doser" music this week and a couple of interesting covers as well. I can dropbox the segments if anyone is interested, just drop me a line and I'll add your name to the list of DB friends and I'll have them up each week. I will have to check it out as I may have to wait to upload them until they actually play on The Voice before I can post them. I'll see about that.
Till Next time,
Stay Dosin'

The Dayly Dose show 3-23-12

All right. This weeks show is in the can so to speak. I am still working on a way to archive the shows so bare with me a little while longer. I had fun this week amidst all of the Mannsanity out here on the left coast, but hay, why not I say. I mean, if you can play Garth Brooks, G. Love & Special Sauce, Frank Zappa & The Mothers, Elvis Costello, as well as something from Maggot Brain, how bad of a week could it be, Right? Anyway, the Dreamweaver class is coming along pretty well and maybe that is how I find a place to have my shows stashed. High 90 % and I'm already past what I had hoped to learn so it's all sunny here on ward 13.

Peace out all you Dose Heads.
